Allesley Allotments

If you would like to grow your own vegetables or fruit but don't have enough space in your garden, you are welcome to join us at Allesley allotments......we would love to see you!

Maybe you want to wow your foodie friends with all the fabulous delights you have grown on your plot. Perhaps you just like to get out in the fresh air, feeling the sun on your face while you 'potter' about (some of us like pottering) tending your fledgling crops. Want to eat more healthy, meet new people, learn new skills or maybe you are already an experienced grower and could help someone who is just starting their own vegetable growing revolution?

We have a great mix of people of all ages on the allotments. Some like being sociable, others prefer more private enjoyment of their allotment. Everyone is friendly so expect people to say 'good morning' with a smile. All ages are welcome and don't think allotments are just for the chaps - we have quite a few women allotmenteers already.

Depending on availability, you can rent various sizes of plots. We have many people who plant directly into the soil, others have raised beds and some use a mixture of the two. We have included some photographs in the gallery below to give you an idea of the different allotments people have.
